DK Security Lab
A YouTube channel about Microsoft Sentinel — and the tool that publishes to it.
DK Security Lab is a YouTube channel produced by Dustin Paulson. The channel was previously called SentinelTutorial. This page exists so that the channel and the software behind it have a public, permanent home for their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The channel
DK Security Lab publishes tutorial videos about Microsoft Sentinel. Each video is a screen recording of a real walkthrough performed in the Azure portal and the Microsoft Defender portal, narrated with an AI-generated voice track. The recordings are of genuine product sessions; the narration is synthesised rather than spoken.
The channel is new and has not published any videos yet. There are no viewing figures, subscriber numbers, ratings or reviews to report, and no launch date has been set. When videos do appear they will be on YouTube, on the DK Security Lab channel.
The DK Security Lab Uploader
The DK Security Lab Uploader is a small desktop tool used to publish videos to that one YouTube channel. It is an internal, single-user tool: the only person who uses it is the channel owner, and it acts only on the channel he owns. It is in development, it is not distributed, it is not sold, and there is nothing to download from this page.
The Uploader talks to YouTube through YouTube API Services. Signed in as the channel owner over OAuth 2.0, it uploads video files, thumbnails and caption tracks, and updates the title, description, tags and visibility of the videos on that channel. It reads and writes nothing else, and it has no access to anyone else’s channel or account.

A second, separate tool reads the channel’s own audience statistics. It holds a different and narrower permission from the Uploader, so it has its own documents rather than sharing these:

Use of YouTube API Services is additionally governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
