1. What these terms cover
These terms govern the DK Security Lab Uploader (the “Software”),
a desktop application written by Dustin Paulson to publish videos to the
DK Security Lab
YouTube channel, and this sentineltutorial section of dkbuilt.com.
The Software is a private, internal, single-user tool. It is used by its owner, on his own channel, and by nobody else. It is not offered to the public, there is no sign-up, and no account exists for any other person.
2. Provided as-is, with no warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGE OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE.
No guarantee is made that the Software works, that it will keep working, that an upload will succeed, or that a video, thumbnail, caption or metadata change will be applied correctly.
3. Use of YouTube API Services
The Software uses YouTube API Services. Use of the Software is therefore also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, and by using the Software you are agreeing to be bound by them. Google’s handling of information it receives is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Where these terms and the YouTube Terms of Service both apply, the YouTube Terms of Service govern the use of YouTube API Services. What the Software accesses and stores is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. No fee
The Software is not sold, licensed for a fee, or offered for purchase. There is no price, no subscription, no trial and no payment of any kind associated with it or with this section of the site.
5. No support obligation
No support, maintenance, bug-fixing, update or upgrade is promised or owed. The Software may be changed or withdrawn at any time, without notice.
6. No redistribution
The Software may not be copied, distributed, published, sublicensed, sold, rented, leased or otherwise transferred to any other person or entity. It is for the author’s own use on his own channel.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
